Weld Australia delivers value to all members, by providing networking opportunities, pathways for learning, internationally accredited certification, and technical solutions for welding practitioners. There’s a Weld Australia membership to suit everybody!

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is open to all companies associated with welding or related activities. As a Weld Australia member your company will receive:

  • Unlimited number of employees listed as Associates on your company’s membership
  • Business Listing on Weld Australia’s online Member Directory
  • Post open positions and receive enquiries on Weld Australia’s Job Board (free for Corporate, Premium Corporate and Industry Group Members)
  • Use of Weld Australia logo to demonstrate membership (conditions apply)
  • All Associates receive member-level access to Weld Australia’s online forum and community
  • All Associates receive communication and industry updates from Weld Australia, our flagship quarterly e-publication ‘Australian Welding’ and our e-publication ‘Weld Connect’
  • All Associates receive invitations to networking events (free for members)
  • All Associates receive invitations to technical events, presentations, webinars and other events (free for members)
  • Access to International Institute of Welding (IIW) Commission Papers (exclusive to Weld Australia members)
  • All Associates receive discounted rates on the full range of Weld Australia events, seminars, professional development, training and technical publications. Discounts are tiered by membership type and Associates receive the discount rate associated with their company’s membership type.

Premium Corporate Membership

Premium Corporate membership is open to all companies associated with welding or related activities. As a Weld Australia member your company will receive:

Technology Network Membership (Available Only to Premium Corporate Members)

Weld Australia hosts and administers Technology Networks, providing a forum for technology transfer and research and development, linking members with industry and research organisations. Being part of a Weld Australia Technology Network provides your company with:

  • A confidential forum for discussing issues with peers and industry experts
  • Participation in a unified body that can advocate for change among industry clients
  • Participation in tailored industry projects
  • Advantageous access to technical advice and engineering support
  • Opportunities to benchmark against industry best practice
  • A conduit between industry and research organisations
  • Collaborative sharing of resources
  • Development of shared services for repair options to international standard
  • Opportunities to influence Australian Standards, contract terms and specifications

TAFE / RTO Membership

Weld Australia proudly supports the development of Australian TAFEs, and we are pleased to offer free membership to TAFEs and RTOs in Australia. As a Weld Australia member, your TAFE or RTO will receive:

  • Unlimited number of employees listed as Associates on your TAFE/RTO’s membership
  • Business Listing on Weld Australia’s online Member Directory
  • Post open positions and receive enquiries on Weld Australia’s Job Board (fee payable)
  • Use of Weld Australia logo to demonstrate membership (conditions apply)
  • All Associates receive member-level access to Weld Australia’s online forum and community
  • All Associates receive communication and industry updates from Weld Australia, our flagship quarterly e-publication ‘Australian Welding’ and our e-publication ‘Weld Connect’

Membership Period

Weld Australia membership is annual and runs from 1 January to 31 December in a given year. Fees are pro-rated through the year as follows:

Join Date 1 October 2020 – 31 March 2021 | 100% 2021 subscription | Renewal Date 31 December 2021

Join Date 1 April 2021 – 30 June 2021 | 75% 2021 subscription | Renewal Date 31 December 2021

Join Date 1 July 2021 – 30 September 2021 |  50% 2021 subscription |Renewal Date 31 December 2021

Join Date 1 October 2021 – 31 December 2021 | 100% 2022 Subscription | Renewal Date 31 December 2022
