Cigweld 2025 Competition Terms and Conditions
Promoter: Weld Australia, Suite G1, Ground Floor, 25 Ryde Road, Pymble NSW 2073
Eligibility: Entry is open only to Australian residents who are 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, as well as agencies associated with this promotion, are ineligible to enter.
Competition Period: The competition begins at 8am on Friday 15 August 2025 and ends at 6pm on Friday 27 September 2025 (AEST). Entries received outside of this time period will not be accepted.
How to Enter: To enter, participants must:
- Follow both Cigweld and Weld Australia on LinkedIn.
- Find the competition post on LinkedIn and tag a friend.
- Make sure you’re a member of Weld Australia.
- Fill out this short online form to enter the draw: https://form.jotform.com/241260736052853
- No entries will be accepted on behalf of third parties.
Prizes: There is one prize winner in total who will receive a CIGWELD BIGSUCKER FX1 worth $3699, and ARCMASTER XC990F WITH CYCLONE PAPR – PRO KIT worth $1299, and ARCMASTER XC90F WITH CYCLONE PAPR – TRADE KIT worth $1099. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Winner Selection: The winner will be chosen at random on https://www.calculator.net/random-number-generator.htmlv at 25 Ryde Road Pymble, NSW 2073 on Monday 29 September 2025 at 11am by random draw. The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Notification: Winners will be notified by email or phone within 7 days of the draw. The winners will have 21 days from the date of notification to claim the prize. If the prize is unclaimed by this date, a re-draw will be conducted on Monday 27 October 2025 at 11am at the same location as the original draw. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified in writing within 7 days of the draw.
Entry Conditions: By entering this competition, participants consent to the promoter using their names, likeness, image, and voice in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome) and promoting any products manufactured, distributed, and/or supplied by the promoter.
Publication: The winners first initial, last name and postcode will be published when announcing the prize winner in Weld Australia publications. This also applies to the winner of the Unclaimed Prize Draw.
Privacy: Any personal information you provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoter will not disclose participants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with participants. The Promoter is bound by the Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
Liability: The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize or participating in this competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Cancellation: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or amend these terms and conditions, without prior notice ( ‘subject to regulatory approval’).
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, and are also subject to the laws of the jurisdiction of the state or territory in which the entrant normally resides.
