EXPERT PRESENTER: CRISTIAN ZANFIR
Cristian Zanfir is an experienced and highly knowledgeable presenter with extensive expertise in welding standards, practices, and industry requirements. He joined the CWB Group in 2004 and has held several key positions within the organisation, including Procedure Verification Engineer, Supervisor of Ontario Operations, Supervisor of Procedure Verification Engineers, and roles within the Electrodes Certification Department.
Cristian currently serves as the Manager of Standards in the CWB Group’s Office of Public Safety, where he plays a leading role in the development and advancement of welding standards. He actively contributes to numerous technical committees within AWS, ASME, CSA, and ISO, bringing valuable industry insight and experience to these organisations. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Welding and a Level 2 Visual Welding Inspector certification, Cristian’s depth of knowledge and practical experience make him a respected authority in welding standards and a highly valued instructor for AWS D1.1 training.
