Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Promotion commences at 6:00PM AEST and closes 7:30PM AEST on Thursday, 15 September 2026.
  2. The promoter is South Pacific Welding Group Pty Limited (SPW), ABN 46 078 830 878, Riverside Corporate Park, 10 Julius Avenue, North Ryde, NSW, 2113, Australia.
  3. Draw will take place at 7:40PM AEST on Thursday, 15 September 2026 at the Weld Australia Tasmania Industry Drinks Night, Kelp Bar, Victoria Dock, Upper Deck, Hobart TAS 7000.
  4. The winner will be notified by telephone within 5 working days of the draw taking place and SPW will send the prize via ordinary post. No responsibility is accepted for lost goods.
  5. The prize consists of 1 x BlueVenom XF230 6-in-1 SiC welder, total prize valued at $3,099.
  6. Prize is for the CIGWELD BlueVenom XF230 6-in-1 SiC welder only.
  7. To enter eligible participants must place their business card into the bowl at Weld Australia Tasmania Industry Drinks Night, Kelp Bar, Victoria Dock, Upper Deck, Hobart TAS 7000 during the promotional period of 6:00PM AEST to 7:30PM AEST on Thursday, 15 September 2026. This promotion is a game of chance and each validly submitted entry will enter the draw for a chance to be randomly selected by the Promoter as a competition winner.
  8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person.
  9. Employees and their immediate families of SPW and their agencies and companies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.
  10. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that their contact details, including postal details, are correct at the time of entry.
  11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or inconsequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, arising in any way out of this promotion or the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  12. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  13. Entries must comply with these Terms & Conditions to be valid.
  14. If the prize is unclaimed by 15 December 2026, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at BOC Gas & Gear, 21 Derwent Park Rd, Moonah TAS 7009.
  15. In the event the competition winner declines the prize, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at BOC Gas & Gear, 21 Derwent Park Rd, Moonah TAS 7009.
  16. The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  17. By entering this competition, you agree to the Promoter collecting and using your personal information for the purposes of administering and carrying out the competition, and may be used to send information and future promotional communications to you. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Promoter’s privacy policy (a copy of which can be obtained from the SPW website, www.spwgroup.com.au, or by calling 1300 WELDER (935 337)).
