Australian Steel Institute

The Australian Steel Institute is the nation's peak body representing the entire steel supply chain from the mills right through to end users in building/construction, heavy engineering and manufacturing. It provides marketing and technical leadership to promote Australian-made steel as the preferred material to building/construction and manufacturing industries and policy advocacy to Government.


ATTAR delivers leading practice Engineering Testing, Training & Consulting services covering an expansive array of disciplines, including Materials Engineering, Asset Condition Monitoring, Floor Consulting (incl. Slip Resistance) and Expert Witness Services. ATTAR also provides access to the highest level of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) training, consulting and specialist NDT services offered by a single provider, including the provision of private and customised courses as well as specialised Level 3 services.

International Institute of Welding

The IIW's Mission is to operate as the global body for the science and application of joining technology, providing a forum for networking and knowledge exchange among scientists, researchers and industry. Through the work of its 26 Technical Commissions and Working Units, the organization's technical focus encompasses the joining, cutting and surface treatment of metallic and non-metallic materials by such processes as welding, brazing, soldering, thermal cutting, thermal spraying, adhesive bonding and microjoining. IIW work also embraces allied fields including quality assurance, non-destructive testing, standardisation, inspection, health and safety, education, training, qualification, design and fabrication. Weld Australia is the Australian representative member of the International Institute of Welding.

Defence Teaming Centre

The Defence Teaming Centre (DTC) is a nationally-focused member organisation enabling and supporting Australian industry to develop capability and increase overall competitiveness in domestic and global defence markets. DTC's membership includes Prime Defence Contractors, Small-to-Medium Enterprises, Professional Service Providers and Academic Institutions that are involved in supplying and supporting Defence capability. The DTC has a team of professional staff with experience and connections across Defence to assist organisations enter the defence market or grow their market share in defence.
