About the role
Cawthorn Welding is a well established company located south of Hobart at Electrona. We are seeking a full time employee to join the team of ten and help us with our every increasing work load.
This opportunity sits within the Energy sector and is a full-time, on-site position based in Electrona, TAS.
Key responsibilities
Certificate lll Engineering Fabrication trade
Experience
Prepared to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
Demonstrated initiative and strong work ethic
Follow engineering drawings
Quality welding and attention to detail
Self motivated and physically fit
About you
Experience in structural steelwork, onsite erection and installation
Repairs and inspection of truck trays, panel trailers, buckets and general repairs
Truck tray fabrication
General fabrication work
Handrails, gates, frames
Boat building
Stainless and aluminium welding (not essential)
