About this course
Weld Australia will be hosting a Welding Supervisor course at Manufacturing Skills Queensland, Townsville. This training will be run over 3 x 1-week blocks. The first two weeks will be run consecutively with a break to allow students to sit their Paper A exam. Students will then come back for the final module and paper B examination.
Students have the opportunity to sit either the AS2214 or the AS1796 Cert 10. The classes will be combined for modules 1 & 2 and then spilt into two separate groups for module 3.

To be eligible for funding
Manufacturing Skills Queensland has kindly offered funding for this training for Queensland participants. Eligible Participants will receive the training and examinations at 50% off the original price. Please review the criteria below.
Participant eligibility
- Must be an employee of a Queensland manufacturing business
- Must meet the below prerequisites for the training
- Must reside in Queensland (If you do not reside in Queensland and want to travel for the training, you can still register however, you won't receive funding)
Business Eligibility
- Must be a Queensland manufacturing business with less than 200 employees. To apply for the funding as a business, please send through a document stating your current number of employees and your work place manufacturing capabilities
