David Lake

David Lake (BSc Hons) is Weld Australia’s Chair, a member of the Australian Institute for Non-destructive Testing, Institute of Engineers Australia and Materials Australia. David is part of the Australasian Corrosion Association’s Petroleum and Chemical Processing Industry working group.

He was, for many years, a welding inspector and metallurgist, writing and approving weld procedures and specifications in the mining and refining industries.

David is also Chair of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee of Weld Australia.
